How does the TIMATE SPEED® vehicle charger ULGD 5.0 B1 differ from the A1 model? I am considering one because of insufficient charging driving only short distances usually in the dark.
Is it recommended for a Mecedes Benz C220 diesel automatic with stop/start?
Does it protect against voltage peaks while charging? I have heard that voltage spikes can be as high as a few dozen volts and the spikes can damage the car electronics and lead to expensive repairs?
